guys i have jailbreaked and unlocked iphone 3gs 32gb on baseband 05.13.04....but when i reboot device i get an colored pixel above apple logo....here's the link take a look :

Steps to unlock IOS 4.0
1. Jailbreak IOS 4.0 Pwnage Tool.
2. After Jailbreaking, you can use blacksnOw RC2 to unlock IOS 4.0
3. Start Cydia App.
4. Add Source. http://cydia.pushfix.info.
5. Wait for Cydia to update packages.
6. Search for Blacksn0w and from the list click on “Blacksn0w RC2 Final” and click on Install.
7. Restart your iPhone.

iPhone 4 Black Screen w/ Tethered Jailbreak 4.2.1.
I purchased an Iphone 4 MC605ZP/A that was running 4.3.3 and managed to downgrade it without SHSH blobs to 4.2.1 and jailbreak it by using redsn0w, greenpois0n, and TinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery mode whenever it got stuck. Finally, it was up and running, but whenever I turn off the iPhone it goes straight into DFU mode. From there, I can only boot it using redsn0w and the jailbreak is tethered because of that. Now, the screen is black even though the iPhone is on. Is there a way to fix the screen problem, keeping in mind that I can't do a hard/soft reset because it goes straight into DFU mode, and how can I untether this jailbreak?

you can jailbreak iOS 5 now, but still you can't unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 5 right now.
note: gevey sim does not support iOS 5 very well

Not having some features or utilities is okay to deal with but, iphone has always been into issues like unlocking, jail break, battery drainage, sim card failure and much more.
