[size=12.0pt]WashingtonCapitals vs New York Rangers live stream. The Washington Capitals haveknocked the Rangers out of the playoffs in their past two postseasonappearances (2009, 2011) and are coming off a stunning upset of the defendingStanley Cup champion Boston Bruins. Here are the five things the Rangers needto do to avoid a three-peat.

[size=12.0pt]Putpressure on Holtby
[size=12.0pt]GoaltenderBraden Holtby became the unexpected hero of the Capitals' first-round successwith his clutch 31-save performance as the team knocked off the Bruins in Game7 on Wednesday. Thrust into the starting role with injuries to Tomas Vokoun andMichal Neuvirth, Holtby, 22, has been poised and promising in goal for theCaps. If the Rangers want to get past Washingtonon the third try, they'll have to create traffic in front, crowd the crease andrattle his cage.

[size=12.0pt][size=12.0pt]“No. I don't feel more comfortableor anything. Not that I felt uncomfortable before. It's still the same,” Holtbysaid. “We're still a confident group in here. I still feel confident in myabilities that I can give this team a chance to win. It doesn't change much.It's still the Capitals vs. Rangers.”

Holtbyhas reason to be confident. He put up some nice numbers in beating the BostonBruins: a 2.49 goals-against average and .922 save percentage.

Nowhe gets to go back to Madison Square Garden,starting with Game 1 Saturday afternoon against the New York Rangers, the siteof perhaps his finest performance of this regular season. Holtby said he wasmore comfortable than he expected to be in his Garden debut.

[size=12.0pt]“Especially with getting used tothe lighting and whatnot and the different confines. It's not exactly yourtypical building. It was good to play in it,” said Holtby, who added it'sdarker than other arenas. “It's just a different color in there; it's almost ayellow. That's mainly the thing. It's still a sheet of ice the same size aseveryone else.”

That'sHoltby, cool and calm and unfazed by change or pressure. The Caps have gottenvery used to this goaltender. He doesn't have any ex-teammates or familiaritywith the Rangers, so he's sure to see plenty of fresh faces.
