it is time for a selection of video games, and the highlight today is puzzles. And believe us when we say that puzzle games come a dime a dozen when smartphones and tablets are concerned.

However, not all of them are worth your time. That is why we decided to pick a handful of Android puzzle games the we enjoyed playing, hoping that you'll find them interesting as well.

And by the way, this isn't the first time we pick that kind of games for you, guys. In case you've missed our previous selection of Android puzzle games, go ahead and check it out.

With that out of the way, feel free to browse through the slideshow below and tell us which game you like the most. As usual, if you believe we've missed a game that should have been on the list, drop us a line in the comments!

1. Spirits

Spirits is a beautiful game inspired by the timeless classic Lemmings. The player must get a certain number of spirits to the goal by using their special abilities. Spirits can blow wind, dig tunnels, create bridges and more.

2. Triple Town

In Triple Town, the player must build the biggest city possible, and that is done by combining objects. Three grass patches make a bush, three bushes make a tree, and so on, until you've filled the board with houses, cathedrals and castles.

3. Cogs

Cogs is a challenging brain teaser that combines multiple puzzles in one. Along the way, the player has to make the most of the parts that are available and figure out ways to make gears turn, steam flow, bells ring and a whole lot more.

4. Flow

Flow is a rather basic puzzle game with 600 challenging levels. The goal is to draw a line and connect all corresponding colors, all the while making sure none of their paths intersect. Check out the Time Trial mode for an even more challenging gameplay.

5. Apparatus

The challenge in Apparatus is to build simple or complex machines to get one or several balls into the basket. The player must use the in-game physics engine to their advantage in order to complete each level.

6. Bridge Construction Kit

As the name suggests, the goal in Bridge Construction Kit is to build a bridge across a river using whatever materials are available. The bridge must be sturdy enough to support the train that passes over it. The higher the level, the more complex your bridges will get.

7. graBLOX

Grablox is a rather simple, yet fun game that requires the player to clear all blocks by combining three of them together. There are different types of blocks that perform different functions. The first few levels of the game are easy, yet the game is going to get challenging sooner than you think.

8. Doptrix Evolution

Doptrix Evolution is a lot like Tetris, only the other way around. Instead of rotating the pieces, the player has to flip the board in order to make them fit. If a piece ends up outside of the board, the game is over.

9. Nintaii

Nintaii is a very challenging puzzle game, in which a block has to be flipped and turned across a board of a certain shape. The goal is to get the block to the designated spot, but trust us when we say that doing so is much easier said than done.

10. Cheese Tower

And last but not least we have Cheese Tower, which is another physics-bazed puzzle game. The player must clear all the grey blocks by tapping on them, while making sure as little yellow blocks as possible fall of stage. If three of them fall off or break, the level has to be replayed.
